Proxy settings for Internet Explorer 3

How to configure Internet Explorer 3.x to use the proxy server.

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Goto "View" then "Options".
  
  
  
  
• Choose the tab labelled "Connection".
  
  
  
  
• In the box labelled "Proxy", tick the box labelled "Connect through a proxy server", then choose "Settings".
  
  
• You may select to enter the above details independently or tick the box labelled "Use the same server for all protocols", both will work fine.
  
  
• In the area "Do not use proxy server for addresses beginning with:", enter "*.ace.net.au"
• Select "OK", then reload the page you are viewing.
